The Air Ambulance are Shabby Chic
This week we had the pleasure of delivering a vintage paint course for staff & volunteers for the Air Ambulance Service Charity.
Gloss Interiors was approached a couple of months ago by Brian the Head of Retail for the Air Ambulance Charity. Brian had spotted our shop in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and was impressed with how we revamped old furniture. He wanted to know if we could work in partnership to help their stores showcase the donations they receive, as pieces that could be upcycled. After a few meetings it was decided that arming the staff and volunteers at the Air Ambulance with the confidence and skills to upcycle in house pieces was the best starting point… it also meant they got to have some fun too!
The first session was in their furniture store in Burton. We delivered our Vintage Paint Course using our Grand Illusions Vintage Paint Products and went through our chalk painting tips and techniques. For the final exercise, everyone got to work with creative freedom on their own picture frame and the results were fantastic! The feedback was extremely positive, with staff feeling inspired to do both in house and personal projects, as well as feeling better armed to answer any questions or enquiries from members of the public.
Gloss Interiors are looking forward to working on further projects with this fantastic Charity, The Air Ambulance Service.
